There are some who believe that we all should be taking some drug, whether for depression or cholesterol, blood pressure or diabetes. Is this a good idea? In bygone days it was a common illness among children, sometimes with tragic results. Thanks to vaccination, we rarely see that form these days, but epiglottitis can still show up when you least expect it, still as a very serious disease.
